Camas City Council Workshop

Council Workshop Meeting – 4:30 p.m.

Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. There are seven City Council members and a Mayor, Steve Hogan, who presides at the meetings. The staff representative is the City Administrator. Agenda items must be submitted by Tuesday afternoon of the week prior to the meeting.

Citizens can reach the Council members:

• Through the City Administrator’s Office at 360.834.6864, to leave a message
• By calling the Council member directly
• Through U.S. Mail addressed to Council and mailed to City of Camas, 616 NE 4th AVE, Camas, WA 98607
• By personally delivering mail to City Hall, 616 NE 4th AVE, Camas, where each Council member has a correspondence box
• By sending an email to the individual Council member or to all Council members at: [email protected]
  • Emails to the City are public records and subject to disclosure
  • Emails provided to one or a few Council Members will be forwarded to include all Council Members

General meeting information and accommodations

The City of Camas welcomes the participation of its citizens in the public meeting process. Anyone interested may be heard at meetings. In addition, the Clerk’s office will receive written comments at any time between notice distribution and the completion of the meeting. Citizen Participation and Communications with Council Members – The Council encourages citizens to make a difference in their community by participating in Council meetings, community groups, or community causes.

Public Comments 

There are two public comment periods included on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the City Council may come forward when invited (see Resident – Public Meetings Guidelines); please state your name and address for the record. Public comments are typically limited to three minutes, and written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk. Special instructions for public comments will be provided at the meeting if a public hearing or quasi-judicial matter is scheduled on the agenda. If there are items the public wishes to bring to Council that will take longer than three minutes, it is preferred the citizen present this topic to the City Administrator so he can determine if the matter should be scheduled into a regular meeting.
