What is a Study Session?
Ridgefield City Council holds Study Session meetings on the first and third Thursday of each month. These sessions do not follow a formal agenda and are intended to inform Council members about upcoming business and facilitate informal discussions on issues that may later be acted upon in a regular session.
Study sessions are public meetings, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
RCW 9.41.305 – It is unlawful for any person to knowingly open carry a weapon—including, but not limited to, a firearm, knife, stun gun, or any other dangerous weapon as defined in RCW 9.41.250—into any location where a public meeting or hearing is being held.
