Tax proceeds may be used for tourism promotion, acquiring and operating tourism-related facilities, and other services authorized by state law.<\/p>\n<h2>Membership<\/h2>\n<p>One council member, up to two business representatives, hotel representatives (operated within the City), and a resident member\u00a0to be appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council.<\/p>\n<h2>Terms &amp; Residency Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>Four-year terms. Members must have been two-year residents of\u00a0and registered voters in\u00a0the City of Camas.<\/p>\n<h2>Meeting Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet\u00a0annually (usually in early Spring) to discuss available funds and review applications. Committee award decisions are subject\u00a0to council approval.<\/li>\n<li>\u200bThis is a hybrid meeting.
